Finally we got to see Gilbert Arenas back to doing what he does best and thats playing basketball. Last night in New York he showed what I've been saying all along, that he's still an NBA All-Star caliber player. He scored 18 points in 24 minutes of game action, but it was in the late stages of the game when he hit some of those Agent Zero type long distance bombs that proved me right. The Knicks won the game, but I was happy seeing Arenas back in action because this team needs him to be that same player he was before all the drama and injuries derailed him and the franchise for a couple of years if we want to be respectable this year. I know the team is going to be a work in progress due to being the 5th youngest team in the NBA and with all the roster turnover since last season, but I think we are on the right path. Welcome back Gilbert!
