The Washington Redskins showed no ill effects from the thrashing they took this past Monday night at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles in their win today over the Tennessee Titans. They needed overtime to get the 19-16 win, but a win is a win! What a great way to respond and more importantly they improve to 5-5 on the season which is more wins than they had last year! Like I always say, the NFL season is a marathon with peaks and valleys. Things can change fast, sometimes even week to week. I have to give the defense credit along with the offensive line today. The defense didn't allow Tennessee to score an offensive TD and  played without starters LaRon Landry and Carlos Rogers. The offensive line played well in both the running game and in pass protection. The offense converted 8 of 16 3rd downs in the game which was a huge deal for a team that was dead last in that category coming into the game. QB Donovan McNabb threw for 376 yards with 1 TD and 1 Int, I thought he had a very good game. WR Santana Moss caught 7 passes for 106 yards and a TD. Overall I'm very happy to see them go into Tennessee and get this win, especially when nobody believed they could do it. Now it's back home next week to face the 3-7 Minnesota Vikings who are a mess, but will be a dangerous team to face because of all the talent the have. Our goal must be to show up and play with the same level of consistency across the board and start stringing some wins together!
